Val Sparkes

Val trained as an occupational therapist (OT) at York St. John, York. She has over 19yrs experience working for the national health service (NHS), for the private sector and in private practice, both as an OT and as a case manager. Val has worked in orthopaedic and medical specialities, neurorehabilitation, general medical rehabilitation, vocational needs assessment and paediatrics. Her experience also includes working with traumatic injury, amputees, specialist seating and equipment assessments, and minor/major adaptation work (including disabled facilities grants [DFG] and privately funded work).
